How It Works

Reno Apex Fence is an independent referral service that connects Reno-area homeowners with local, independently owned fence contractors. We do not perform fencing or gate work ourselves — always verify a contractor's license and insurance before hiring.

Four steps, start to finish

1. You tell us about your project. Use the form on any page or the contact page — what you need (new fence, repair, or an automatic gate), roughly how much fence, and how to reach you. There's no cost and no obligation to submit a request.

2. We match your request to an independent local contractor. We match based on the work you described, your general location within Reno, Sparks, or Washoe County, and which of our contractor partners currently has capacity — never based on which company pays us the most.

3. A contractor contacts you directly. Typically within one business day, by phone or text, to ask a few more questions and set up a time to see the project in person. That contractor, not Reno Apex Fence, quotes and performs the work.

4. You decide. Get the quote, ask questions, compare it against what you learned on our cost guide, and hire or don't — there's no obligation either way, and no cost to you for using this service.

What we do

• Publish researched, sourced, dated information about fence and gate costs, Washoe County rules, and Nevada contractor licensing so you can go into a quote already informed.

• Match your request to independent local contractors serving Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County.

• Share your request details only with the specific contractor(s) we match you with — never sell your information for unrelated marketing (see our privacy policy).

What we don't do

• We don't install, repair, or replace fences ourselves — we're not a fencing contractor and don't hold or need an NSCB contractor license.

• We don't guarantee a specific price, timeline, or outcome — those come from the independent contractor who quotes your job.

• We don't charge homeowners anything, at any step.

• We don't publish or vouch for a company's insurance or "licensed and insured" status unless we've verified it ourselves — always confirm a contractor's license at app.nvcontractorsboard.com before hiring (see the license lookup walkthrough).
