Reno Apex Fence is an independent referral service that connects Reno-area homeowners with local, independently owned fence contractors. We do not perform fencing or gate work ourselves — always verify a contractor's license and insurance before hiring.

What information we collect

When you submit a request through this site, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, service address or zip code, and details about your fence or gate project. We also collect standard technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies described below.

SMS opt-in data

If you provide a mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, we collect and store that number, the consent you gave (including the exact language you agreed to and the date and time), and your message history with us for compliance and service purposes. No mobile opt-in data or consent will be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. Your phone number is shared only with the specific independent contractor needed to fulfill your service request — never sold, rented, or shared for unrelated marketing.

How we use your information

  • To match your request with an independent, local fence or gate contractor and share the details necessary for that contractor to contact you about your project.

  • To send you service-related communications — for example, confirming your request or following up on it — by phone, text, or email, consistent with the consent you gave.

  • To operate, maintain, and improve this site, including understanding which pages and content are useful to visitors.

  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How we share information — and the fulfillment-only rule

We are a referral/matching service, not a fencing contractor. To fulfill your request, we share your contact information and project details with the specific independent, local contractor(s) we match you with. That is the only routine sharing we do with your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent records with any third party for marketing purposes. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect against fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics (to understand how visitors use the site), and to measure whether a visit resulted in a phone call or form submission. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some site functionality. We do not currently serve third-party advertising on this site.

Call recording

Calls to any tracked phone number on this site may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and lead-verification purposes. Nevada is an all-party (two-party) consent state for call recording — under Nevada's wiretapping statute (NRS 200.620) as interpreted by the Nevada Supreme Court in Lane v. Allstate Insurance Co., all parties to a call must consent before it may be recorded. Where call recording is enabled on our tracked number, you will hear a disclosure at the start of the call; continuing the call after that disclosure constitutes your consent to recording. If you do not consent, please say so at the start of the call or hang up.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information you provide, including limiting access to lead information to what's needed to operate this service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

  • Opt out of texts: reply STOP to any text message from us at any time to stop receiving further messages. Reply HELP for help.

  • Access or delete your information: contact us using the contact page to request a copy of the information we hold about you or to ask that it be deleted, subject to any legal retention requirements.

  • Opt out of non-essential communications: you can ask us at any time to stop contacting you for anything other than an active request already in progress.

Children's privacy

This site and its services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
